Perceptive.Live.Sessions \\Brianne Swee – “Come to Me”

Perceptive Video is super excited to announce that we are now shooting a new series, called “Perceptive Live Sessions.”  By captivating viewers with the feeling that they are actually ‘in the audience,’ our goal is to take a very “acoustic approach” to creating these music videos.  Everything is super “raw,” meaning what you see is what you get! Nothing is scripted; just a talented musician or group, most likely a unique, cool venue, and minimal equipment set up.

To help kick off this series, I found talent in a friend, and fellow colleague, Brianne Swee.  Brianne owns and operates Brianne Nichole Photography, based out of Colorado- But when she’s not snapping amazing pictures, she lends her talented voice and music skills as a worship leader for her church.  I was very blessed to have her come join me for an acoustic session.  We found an old, rustic Baptist church, located in Dalesburg, SD-and decided to shoot this all in just a few hours.  The church was unique and full of character-a perfect setting for such a powerful worship song such as this! Side note; Our fav. thing about the venue was the vintage carpet!! :)  “It really tied the room together, dude!”

James + Lacie – [an.arizona.wedding.film]

Ok, so what’s better than a weekend in March, in South Dakota?!? To be spending it shooting a wedding in beautiful Arizona!!!!  Last weekend, I was blessed to be a part of James & Lacie’s wedding day… and let me tell you, I had an absolute fantastic time!  Both of them are some the most charismatic, outgoing people you will ever meet….and the same can be said about their parents’ as well!  James is originally from Canada, and met Lacie at a worship school in CO a few yrs ago… needless to say, they hit it off, being from 2 separate countries!

One of the most unique things about this wedding, was not only the beautiful venue, but also the fact that James & Lacie were married by her own father, who pastors a church in Gilbert AZ!

Lacie & James, thanks for having perceptive video be a part of your wedding!

Pastor Dave & Cheree, Jim & Joy and Al & Starr; thanks for all the hospitality while I was visiting!!

enjoy the highlight film!
